About the Author

I am a special education teacher and adjunct instructor. I began writing children’s books as a way to teach children social skills, as well as for personal enjoyment. I live in Alaska with my husband, daughter, dog, and flock of hens. When I am not working, I enjoy spending any free time reading or spending time outside and seeing what Alaska has to offer. I look forward to bringing you my first book, Millie the Moose Blurts, and hope that you and your child(ren) or student(s) find it entertaining and educational.
